These Extension programs are designed for families who are seeking to improve everyday communication among family members. They emphasize skill building for improving family communication and interaction and are not a replacement for families who need counseling or therapy to deal with their family problems. Everyday communication helps to strengthen or weaken personal relationships. PeopleTALK: Enhancing Your Relationships is an educational resource designed to strengthen relationships among family members and other persons important to each other, related or not. It could be friends, co-workers, community members, and family members, too. FamilyTALK: Making It Work and Basic Family Communication are created specifically for families who are seeking to improve their skills in communicating with each other.
