Scientific Name: Salvia sp.

Description:
Salvia is a flowering plant grown for the stocks of colorful flowers. Some types of salvia are tender annuals while other types are perennials. All have a square stem. The bottom flowers open first on the flower stalks, progressing to the top of the stalk. Colors of annual salvia include cream, yellow, pink, red, peach and purple. Perennial salvia is usually blue, purple or white.
