Private Pesticide Applicator Testing
Opportunities to test with K-State Research and Extension
Local K-State Research and Extension offices provide examinations for people wishing to obtain private pesticide applicator or chemigation equipment operator (CEO) certification. Private pesticide applicator certification and CEO certification are unique certifications, each with their own application, exam, and fees.
Contact the office in advance to schedule and allow 2-3 hours to complete the private applicator exam.
Depending on the local Extension unit's capability to provide written or online testing, they may request completion of an application or information form, collect a $25 fee, and mail the completed examination to KDA for grading and issuance of certification card.
