CEREMONY THIS FRIDAY The BIVAP building will be the first of five buildings to be constructed on this site. The other four buildings will include the International Grains Program Executive Conference Center, a Flour Mill, a Feed Mill, and the Teaching, Research, and Administrative (TRA) building, which will also house the Department's Bakery Science and Management Program. All facilities, when completed, will provide integrated programs to address the teaching, research, and outreach programs of the department to prepare our students to meet the challenges of post harvest cereal and oilseed marketing, processing utilization, and value added product development. It will be a five building complex which will contain facilities, equipment, and faculty and support personnel unmatched at any other university in the U.S.A. or the world. If you plan to come to the event, you can park in the east stadium parking lot south of the Grain Science Complex property and walk across Kimball Avenue to the site of the ground breaking ceremony. --Brendan Donnelly bjd@wheat.ksu.edu
