ANNUAL CONFERENCE DATES
In response to telephone inquiries, be sure to note that our next K-State Research & Extension Annual Conference is scheduled for January 6 - 9, 2004, rather than October, 2003. The conference will be held in Manhattan. Bob Zeigler, Head, Plant Pathology, is serving as the chairman of the planning team. --Randy Higgins rhiggins@oznet.ksu.edu

COMMUNICATIONS' PRINT FACILITY NOT MOVING
County offices and research centers across the state have been notified that the central campus printing service, Kansas State Printing Service, has moved to a new location near the airport. This move does NOT affect the printing facility in Umberger Hall in the Department of Communications. K-State Research and Extension personnel can access Greg LeValley and others for printing and duplicating needs in Umberger Hall at 532-1158 or glevalle@oznet.ksu.edu . --Kris Boone kboone@oznet.ksu.edu and Nancy Zimmerli nancyz@oznet.ksu.edu

QUARTER THREE PUBLICATION REPRINTS
K-State Research and Extension publications ordered for third quarter distribution have been somewhat delayed by staff vacancies. We appreciate your understanding and hope to have the publications available by the end of July. --Nancy Zimmerli nancyz@oznet.ksu.edu

REMINDER!
Notify State 4-H Office About Blue Ribbon Youth Enrollment Software.

A note to remind all County/District Extension offices that July 21, 2003 is the deadline for committing for the group purchase of the upgraded Blue Ribbon Youth Enrollment software (See my June 16 hard copy memo to all counties/districts). As of July 1, we already have enough units agreeing that the price is down to $68 per site license for the software. That is a savings of $41 per copy. We can still bring the price down another $21 dollars each if we have 30 more units sign up. Save today by e-mailing Cheryl Thomas, cthomas@oznet.ksu.edu , and saying YES to upgrade your youth enrollment management software! --Daryl Buchholz dbuchhol@oznet.ksu.edu

We appreciate the faculty and administrators who have been involved with planning or assisting with this event. More information is available at http://www.agresources.com/kfir.htm .
