of the National Festival of Breads. Kansas bakers can compete for top
honors in the second National Festival of Breads, scheduled June 23-25,
2011 in Wichita.
Entries can be made online now at www.NationalFestivalofBreads.com. Amateur bakers have until February 7, 2011 to enter this biennial competition.

OPPORTUNITY TO HOST THE K-STATE FOR ALL! ASSISTANCE DOG EXHIBITION IN YOUR COMMUNITY (LIVE VIA THE WEB)
This year’s K-State for All! (Disability
Awareness) Week is March 6-12, 2011, with many activities planned on the
K-State campus. Now, you have an opportunity to bring one of the scheduled
events, the Assistance Dog Exhibition,
to your local community live via the web. Those on or in proximity to campus
are invited to attend in person.
The Assistance
Dog Exhibition is scheduled for Tuesday, March 8, from noon-1 p.m., in Forum

MARKETING AND LOGO UPDATE
The KSU Vice President for Communications and Marketing, Jeff Morris, has been working closely with groups on campus on branding initiatives. While we are still a ways out from launching a full branding initiative, we will soon have new KSU wordmarks, and we will need to consider how we address this for K-State Research and Extension. This will affect signage, newsletters, digital images, etc.
For now, we suggest that big investments in signage be delayed. Regardless of when new wordmarks or logos are developed for the university, K-State Research and Extension will be moving toward complete adoption gradually, allowing us to use up pre-printed materials, etc. --Kris Boone kboone@ksu.edu
