Extension agents are full-time professional educators who serve as a link between Kansas State University and communities across Kansas. Agents are local representatives within a statewide network of educators sharing unbiased, research-based information and expertise on issues important to Kansas.

The Extension Nutrition Program is comprised of EFNEP(Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program) and SNAP-Ed (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program - Education). Nutrition Educators and Assistants work to engage and empower their communities with research-based health and nutrition education.
