NW 4-H Super Saturday Judging Event

Submitted by Robyn Trussel

Please share with your 4-H Families this great judging opportunity open to all 4-H and FFA members. The NW 4-H Super Saturday Judging Event and Project opportunities will be Saturday, March 22 at the Colby Community College, in Colby, Kansas. The indoor judging contests (Crops, Entomology, Horticulture, Life Skills, Photography and Livestock Skill-a-thon) will run from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and cost the youth $7 to participate in one or all of the contests.

While the kids are participating in the Judging contest there will be various volunteer topics shared with the parents.

There will be sack lunches available for $8 per person (parents and younger siblings can order also) and need to be reserved by March 14.

The afternoon will consist of the Livestock Judging contest taking place at Thomas County Fairgrounds, starting at 12:30 pm and STEM and Visual Arts learning stations at the college for the non-livestock judging youth starting at 1:00 pm.

Please register by Friday, March 14, at https://kstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_dajjdd7SK7HICeW. For more information or questions contact Robyn Trussel, rdeines@ksu.edu or 785-798-3921.
