Kansas Extension Faculty Recognized

Several Kansas Extension faculty have been selected for recognition during the National Epsilon Sigma Phi Conference to be held October 4 - 7 in Coeur d'Alene Idaho.

Doug Jardine will receive the North Central Region Distinguished Service Award and Debra Bolton will receive the North Central Region Individual Diversity/Multicultural Award.

Three of the 21 concurrent sessions offered during the conference will be presented by Kansas Epsilon Sigma Phi Members.

Diane Mack will present "A New Approach to Solving Community Challenges."

Trudy Rice, Jennifer Wilson, Laurie Chandler and Nadine Sigle will present "Board Leadership Series: So You Are Serving on a Board - 'Now What'?"

Laurie Chandler, Gayle Price, Trudy Rice and Stacey Warner will present "Extension Professionals Engaging Volunteers in Program Development."

Epsilon Sigma Phi members are encouraged to apply for scholarships to attend the conference. Both the Jim Lindquist Administrative Leadership Scholarship and the Connie Hoch Leadership Scholarship are available to individuals planning to attend this conference.
