Investing in the Future for 4-H Youth Development

Submitted by Wade Weber

Wade Weber

Beginning October 2, for the 2017-2018 Kansas 4-H year, the Kansas 4-H program will institute an annual Program Fee of $15 per 4-H member (not including Cloverbuds or Volunteers). Our vision is to strengthen our volunteer development, project support and program enhancement.

To help you communicate this information with the families in your community, we have several resources available. By clicking here, or going to Resources, Staff Resources and logging in with your EID – you can access a letter to Extension council members, a letter to commissioners, a Program Fee – Family Guide and you can also watch the webinar that was hosted on April 13 by Dr. Daryl Buchholz and myself. Our website will be updated frequently as we will be constantly loading additional resources for you to communicate about implementation of the program fee. We appreciate your support and your leadership locally in making “the Best Better” through Kansas 4-H Youth Development.
