4-H Program Fee Payment Process & Questions
As the summer season rolls along, the start of the new 4-H year will be here before we know it. A few new resources regarding the Kansas 4-H Program Fee have been developed in an effort to ensure a smooth enrollment and payment process. We want to stress the importance of frequent and clear communication with your 4-H families about how to pay the program fee in your local Extension unit. Depending on your local circumstances, individual families may be responsible for paying the fee(s), or maybe a local club, council or foundation will be paying the fee. Please make sure this aspect of the process is determined in a timely fashion so that you can communicate with your 4-H families appropriately.
Two new resources have been posted under Staff Resources to help you navigate the 4-H Program Fee payment process: 1) Program Fee Payment Questions and 2) Group Payment Form. These items are password protected, as they are pertinent to local staff, and not intended for parents and/or members. We will host a webinar on August 23, at 11:00 a.m., to review and answer questions about the payment process. Please save that date and time on your calendar so you can attend. The webinar will also be recorded for those of you with conflicts.
