Thanks for Your Support in Helping Boards Complete the Excellence in Board Leadership Assessment!
Thank you for the support you provided the local unit board in completing the Excellence in Board Leadership Assessment. This year we had 60 of the 74 local units submit their forms – a 81% completion rate!
The information that is gathered from the assessment is helpful – not only for your local unit but also for the area and state levels too. Area and statewide summaries are prepared and shared with Extension Administration and the State Extension Advisory Council. The information helps to determine the type of support boards need for the future.
If you didn’t submit an assessment this year, we encourage you to consider it for 2018. Ideally, the assessment should be reviewed by the board early in the year for planning and then implemented throughout the year. At the end of the year, board members review their goals together, complete the self-assessment, and submit the document by January 1. Click here for more information.
