Research Updates
The Southeast Research and Extension Center Research Report provides a summary of research conducted during the 2017-2018 production season. Research topics include beef cattle, soil and water management, and cropping systems.
The National Winter Canola Variety Trial evaluated performance of released and experimental varieties, determined where these varieties are best adapted, and increased visibility of winter canola across the United States. Breeders, marketers, and producers use data collected from trials to make informed variety selections. Entries in Kansas are from Colby, Garden City, Manhattan, and Norwich. Other states include AL, GA, SC, IN, TN, CO, NM, TX, MT, and VT.
