Master Farmer/Farm Homemaker Nominations Due Next Week!

Submitted by Daryl Buchholz

We are in the month when nominations are due for recognizing Master Farmers/Master Farm Homemakers from your county or district. Nominations must be submitted to the KSRE Extension Administration office by November 26, 2019. While this is statewide recognition, it truly represents a way of expressing recognition locally for those farm families who have shown great support and excellence in community and success in their farm/ranch operations. No better way to demonstrate the value of Extension, and in many cases, 4-H leadership locally.

Follow this link to the nomination instructions. And, then follow this link to the forms necessary to be completed in the nomination process. Once again, nominations must be submitted to the KSRE Extension Administration office by November 26, 2019. If you have questions, contact Daryl Buchholz, dbuchhol@ksu.edu, 785-587-4913; or Sue Robinson, srobinso@ksu.edu, 785-532-5820.

Don’t miss the chance to nominate a deserving farm family from your community for statewide recognition. This K-State Research and Extension Program is co-sponsored with the Kansas Farmer magazine, and is provided excellent financial support by Kansas Farm Bureau, Frontier Farm Credit, and American AgCredit. --Daryl Buchholz, Secretary-Treasurer, Kansas Master Farmer Program
