Awareness of Managing Farm and Ranch Stress Can Lead to Community Responses

Submitted by Elaine Johannes and McKenzie Zimmermann

Panel of Pop-up poster set for Managing Farm and Ranch Stress

Extension’s Stress & Resilience Team with the Kansas Farm Bureau has created farm and ranch stress rack cards for local campaigns that build awareness of Managing Farm and Ranch Stress with useful resources. Cards and a two-panel pop-up poster set are available to local Extension offices and KFB partners.

If you have not already done so, place your order for English and/or Spanish version rack cards through McKenzie Zimmermann, mlcox@ksu.edu, Extension Program Associate. McKenzie can also locate a poster set for you to use at up-coming farm and ranch field days, Farm Bureau events, community activities. Organizing local events with KFB officers that lead to the development of community-level programs and responses is encouraged. A two-page user guide, containing talking points and a QR code survey to let the S&R Team know how the cards and posters were used, is included with each order of cards. You can also report your campaign efforts here

If you have questions about the cards, posters or establishing KFB partnerships contact McKenzie, mlcox@ksu.edu; or Elaine Johannes, ejohanne@ksu.edu.
