Join the Conversation: "Growing our Mindset" Diversity Forum
Join the College of Agriculture's Diversity Programs Office today in closing out Black History Month with the spring 2023 diversity forum, "Growing our Mindset: Accelerating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Workplace” featuring Dr. Lauren Brewer. Dr. Brewer is a graduate of the K-State Grain Science Department with a Masters in Grain Science and Ph.D. in Cereal Chemistry, and previous K-State MANRRS Officer. Currently, Dr. Brewer is a member of the College of Ag Dean’s Advisory Board and serves as the Manager of Research and Development at General Mills, Inc. The forum will take place from 4:30-6:00 p.m., today, February 28, 2023. The event will be in a hybrid format, Town Hall Leadership Studies Building or Zoom Meeting ID: 975 1489 8690. This event is open to all.
The student groups who will lead the event are K-State MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences), College of Agriculture Ambassadors, and Ag Student Council in partnership with the College of Agriculture/KSRE Diversity Programs Office. Thank you to General Mills, Inc. and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies for sponsoring this event. Refreshments will be provided.
