Mark your calendars and please join the Kansas State University College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension Diversity Programs Office as Mr. John Niemann, K-State Alumni, Chairman of the College of Agriculture Dean’s Advisory Board, and Owner/Operator of JNiemann Enterprises, discusses the importance and purpose of diversity in the workplace.

The College of Agriculture's student leadership will present the 14th Biannual “Growing our Mindset” Diversity Forum, from 4:30-6:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 6. The event will be in the Wildcat Chamber at the K-State Student Union or via Zoom. Please register to join via Zoom at https://bit.ly/GOMSpring2024. We hope you can join for this great event.

The student groups who will lead the event are K-State MANRRS (Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources, and Related Sciences) Chapter, College of Agriculture Ambassadors, and Ag Student Council in partnership with the College of Agriculture/KSRE Diversity Programs Office and the Dow Center for Multicultural and Community Studies. The event promises to be engaging and impactful yet can only be great with your participation.

Instructors, please note that we will be taking attendance of students who participate; if you require this information, please contact Diversity Programs Coordinator, Summer Santillana at smades@k-state.edu.

Thank you for your continued support of our programs and efforts. All are welcome to this event, so please join us. Continue to look for more diversity events as we continue to advertise. If you require any additional information, please contact Dr. Zelia Wiley at zwiley@k-state.edu or 785-532-5793.
