Shout Out: McPherson Cow Calf School
This week the Shout Out is from Shad Marston, McPherson County Extension Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent; and is sent for the team who assisted with the McPherson Cow Calf School. Shad writes:
"After reflecting on our 160 plus in attendance for annual McPherson Cow Calf School and KC Strip Steak Supper, in February, I would like to send a Shout Out to all that made our program such a great success. First to the McPherson County Extension office staff for doing an incredible job in organizing, advertising and setting up for the event. Lauralee Myers, Terra Regehr and Shyanne Jones. Second, to the neighboring agents for their help. Ryan Flaming of Harvey County, Wendy Hughes of Rice County, Bret Toews from the Chisholm Trails District and Justin Waggoner our SW Beef Specialist. Lastly, to my Ag PDC members serving the meal in the record time of 25 minutes. It was great to see everyone working together on a night when Extension gets to educate the ag community with meaningful information about the Beef Cow industry."
