Shout Out: Barbara Wingfield
This week the Shout Out is from Stephanie Hays and Sophia Zurschmiede, 4-H Program Managers of Sedgwick County; and is sent for Barbara Wingfield 4-H Office Professional Sedgwick County. Stephanie and Sophia write:
"The Sedgwick County 4-H department would like to send a shout out to Barbara Wingfield, our absolutely amazing 4-H Office Professional / technology guru. Although her official title is Office Professional, everyone in our office knows she's the boss in 4-H. Barbara is not only an outstanding employee but also a selfless coworker and friend. She works hard every day and makes it her mission to get everyone everything they need. A 4-H parent calls asking for information? She knows the answer. A livestock superintendent needs help with 4-H Online? She's got it covered. 4-H needs judges for the county fair? She's already confirmed them months in advance. I can't tell you how grateful we are to have her in Sedgwick County and how grateful Stephanie and I are to get to work with her. When one of us is taking on too much stress on the job, she's got the perfect advice locked and loaded. As if working in Extension wasn't fulfilling enough, she makes it a joy to come to work every single day with her bright and positive disposition. Making it her personal mission to "Make the Best Better", Barbara truly shares the 4 H's with everyone she meets (Head, Heart, Hands, Health)."
Barbara, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
