Shout Out: Megan Dougherty
This week the Shout Out is from Rich Llewelyn, Agricultural Economics Extension Assistant; and is sent for Megan Dougherty, Riley County Extension Nutrition, Health and Food Safety Agent. Rich writes:
"I’d like to give a shout-out to Megan Dougherty, Riley County Nutrition, Health and Food Safety agent. My wife recently turned 65 and we were trying to understand Medicare. My wife attended Megan’s workshop on it, then we met with Megan and she went through all the stuff with us. Other people were also telling us what they thought as we went along, but Megan is the one who actually knew what was going on with it all and helped us get it figured out. We came back to her a couple more times with things we had heard elsewhere and Megan patiently kept us on track. Thanks and well done! We sure appreciate it. It’s great to be part of a system with folks as professional and knowledgeable as Megan."
Megan, thanks for all you do for the people of Kansas, our colleagues and K-State Research and Extension.
