Personal Safety & De-Escalation Training – Open to KSRE Faculty & Staff

Join us for an engaging training session led by Captain Jessica Brooks, Kansas State University Police Department. This Personal Safety & De-Escalation training is designed to help KSRE faculty & staff navigate challenging situations with confidence and empathy and increase skills.

Attendees will:

• Develop de-escalation and communication skills for tense situations.
• Practice active listening and empathy.
• Learn techniques to engage effectively with diverse audiences.
• Support colleagues in navigating challenging conversations.
• Bridge language barriers to find constructive solutions.
