Master Farm Family Award Nominations Due Soon
The time for selecting the next class of Kansas Master Farm Families is almost here. As the executive secretary/treasurer of the Master Farmer Association, I’m asking local Extension agents and county/district councils to nominate and reach out to a farm or ranch couple deserving of this time-honored recognition…based on their agricultural achievements, family living, and rural citizenship. Detailed information was sent to local units via e-mail on February 6. Please consider making a nomination and starting the process right away, if you haven’t already done so. Applications will be due in the Extension Administration office on campus on Friday, May 9, with selection of the new class set for late May.
