De-Escalation Training Thanks

Submitted by Chuckie Hessong

I want to share a Thank You to Captain Jessica Brooks of the K-State Police Department for providing an excellent service to our KSRE community through the recent De-Escalation trainings in Hays and Emporia. Her knowledge, professionalism, and approachable style made a strong impact, and we're grateful for the valuable tools and insights she shared. Thank you, Captain Brooks, for your support and dedication to helping us create safer, more people centered environments in our communities.

Also, a big thank you to Janelle VanKooten and Spencer Casey for their work in organizing and coordinating these sessions. Your efforts in bringing these important trainings to our colleagues are truly appreciated!

Lastly, thanks to Melody Garcia, Penny Smith, Brian Rees, and Travis Carmichael for helping with the tech and facilities. You all are fantastic!
