Shout Out: Joanne Domme and Lisa Satterthwaite
This week the Shout Out is from Abigail Gettinger, Shawnee County ANR Agent; and is sent for Joanne Domme and Lisa Satterthwaite, Shawnee County Office Professionals. Abigail writes:
"Last night (4/23), I was going to hold an instructor-led Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) training. However, we had a severe thunderstorm in Shawnee County and the tornado siren went off right as the office was about to close for the day. After I made the decision to cancel and postpone the training later that evening, Jo and Lisa responded quickly and offered to help me get communications out. As I emailed participants, Jo and Lisa retrieved phone numbers, made calls, posted on Facebook, and assisted with printing out physical signs to put on the doors. They went above and beyond to help me communicate with all involved parties and thoughtfully made sure that I made it out the door safely, as well! They didn't have to, but I am so grateful to them for going the extra mile!"
