Social Media 101 Zoom

The Gray County Family and Consumer Sciences Program Development Committee is helping host a meeting about social media and the dangers that our children are facing. Feel free to print, post, share, etc...I would love to get the word spread near and far, as the internet and social media can do wonderful things, but it can be very scary too!!
Do you know what apps your children are using? Do you know what they can do? Are they safe? What are the risks? Come find out what dangers and pitfalls wait for our youth when it comes to social media. A brief overview of popular applications as well as a way to report suspicious activity will be discussed. It will be led by John Calvert, Head School Safety Specialist, KSDE's Safe and Secure Schools Unit. Attend on zoom or join me at the Gray County 4-H Building at Noon on Friday, June 20, 2025. Adults only please.
