Please Join us and Spread the Word - A Special Remote Work Wednesday on Nov. 12 – Overview of Broadband in Kansas - With the State Executive Director of KOBD
The November Remote Work Wednesday program will be a special edition which we think will be of broad interest to Extension professionals and community partners.
Bill Abston, executive director of the Kansas Office of Broadband Development, will be speaking on Zoom on Wednesday, November 12 at 12:00 noon Central Time. Among other things, he will provide an overview of the broadband landscape and Federal Communications Commission maps. He will also address the future of broadband in Kansas and its implications for agriculture, SMART manufacturing, workforce training, and public safety. If you have local partners with an interest in these sectors, encourage them to join us.
The Kansas Office of Broadband Development has provided two grants to support Extension projects so we would like to have a good turnout for this zoom call.
