Diversity Programs Office Update
The DPO would like to share information about our events.
- MANRRS had their last meeting of the year on Wednesday, April 29. At this meeting they recognized the outgoing 2014-2015 Executive Board and had elections for the 2015-2016 Executive Board. Thank you to our outgoing officers for all of their hard work this past year and congratulations to our newly elected officers. At this meeting the MANRRS Chapter also honored their co-advisor, Dr. Derris Burnett, for his time and service to their chapter. We would like to congratulate Dr. Burnett on his new position as an Assistant Professor at Mississippi State University.
- On Friday, May 1, at 11:15 a.m., MANRRS Chapter spoke with the Dean's Advisory council at the Holiday Inn. The student delegation that attended the 2015 MANRRS National Conference in Houston, TX spoke about their experience and contributions to the conference.
- MANRRS and DPO will be hosting a Study Hall during Dead Week, May 4 to May 7, from 6 - 10 p.m. in Waters Hall room 106, so bring your books and notes! Snacks will be provided for everyone who attends. Thank you to CHS for sponsoring the study hall.
The Better World Textbook Drive in collaboration with the K-State Chapter Sigma Lambda Gama and the DPO is continuing to accept book donations this week at the drop box next to Waters Hall room 139.
