Kansas 4-H Intermediate FCS Judging Contest
After extensive planning and preparation, resources are ready on behalf of the Kansas 4-H Intermediate Family and Consumer Science judging contest. This contest will be held on Saturday, September 19, at the Kansas State Fair. We are excited for the interactive learning opportunities that will be available for our 9-13 year old Kansas 4-H youth participants.
The contest includes three categories: scavenger hunt in 4-H Centennial Hall related to the FCS essential skills, immersion experience and an optional presentation category.
Document resources were again shared via an email on Monday, June 1. Items will also be posted to the Kansas 4-H website. Details related to the location will be shared as soon as they are available.
We appreciated your patience, as the committee worked to make the concepts a reality. Likely, there will be questions, and some hiccups as we implement this learning opportunity, but are grateful for the support that many of you have provided.
