Save the date: The Art of Facilitation: Building Your Palette of Skills December 1-3, 2015
From the local fair board meeting to the Kansas Water Plan Goal Setting forums, Extension Professionals are called upon to facilitate internal, external, and issue based meetings. Many of you have indicated a desire to enhance your facilitative leadership skills.
The Community Development Program focus Team is sponsoring a facilitation training December 1-3, 2015 at Rock Springs 4-H Center for KSRE Extension Professionals at the local, regional, and state level.
The sessions will include interactive experiences related to the following:
· Managing Group Interaction
· Making a Group Decision
· Dealing with Group Conflict
· Utilizing Diversity, Power and Ethic
· Sharing the Responsibilities
So that the design team can insure that the information is relevant, we are asking you to voluntarily go to the following link to assess your understanding of facilitative leadership: https://kstate.qualtrics.com/SE/?SID=SV_0qYl4pOXrenV38N. The survey results will then be used as we make the final decisions on workshop content.
More information about the training will be available after September 1. So, complete the survey and save the date - more to come soon!
