Stone to Continue Administrative Role
Dr. Barbara Stone has agreed to remain in her Department Head/State 4-H Program Leader role up until her time of retirement. You may recall in an earlier announcement, Dr. Stone had planned to step back from her administrative role on June 30, and then to retire at the end of the year.
As a response to the budget concerns forcing us to delay announcing the search for the Department Head/State 4-H Program Leader position, I have asked Dr. Stone to continue in her role until she retires at the end of 2016 and she has agreed. With several important initiatives moving forward for 4-H Youth Development in 2016, her leadership will be critical.
