4-H Impact .... Statewide Opportunity!

Submitted by Daryl Buchholz

Daryl Buchholz

We all believe that the Kansas 4-H Youth Development program is making a huge difference in the lives of youth, but do we really know? Creating leaders, good communicators and great decision-makers takes strong youth development programming. We all believe the K-State Research and Extension's 4-H program is doing this.

To help us aggregate our impacts on what our participating youth are learning, please do your part in collecting your county/district 2016 Kansas 4-H Impact Evaluation data. The Program Focus Team has made it as simple as possible to participate. Instructions can be found on the K-State Research and Extension 4-H restricted website at http://www.kansas4-h.org/staff-downloads/resources/4h-youth-program-evaluation.html. Choose whether you are going to evaluate youth face-to-face or send out an email to your enrolled 4-H members directly.

We need EVERYONE on board with this impact evaluation. The powerful messages that can come from such impact data will go a long ways in demonstrating to our stakeholders the true impact of 4-H on young people! Thanks for jumping on board to help in creating the data to communicate and market the true impact of the 4-H experience in Kansas!
