Updates and Deadlines for Annual Conference
Do you have a program success story to share with your colleagues? Is there a timely topic you would like to address? The K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference is just around the corner.
Session and poster proposals are due August 29. Posters will be set up on Tuesday, October 25, and viewed during the Resource Fair/Reception (4:30 to 6 p.m.). Sessions will be scheduled for Wednesday, October 26.
The call for presentations should focus on one or more of the following:
• The Five Grand Challenges (Global Food Systems, Water, Health, Community Vitality, and Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders),
• Program Focus Team (PFT) Educational Programming,
• Core Competencies of Extension Professionals.
The conference website has links to the tentative schedule, hotel blocks, and call for proposals. Parking permits will be handled differently this year. Information will be posted to the website soon.
