Impact Education Through a Survey of Regional Needs
What are the most pressing issues in primary and secondary education in Kansas and the central region?
The US Department of Education requests your input to establish the priorities for the 10 Regional Comprehensive Centers. Kansas is a part of the Central Comprehensive Center.
The 5-question survey is open to all educational stakeholders in the central region through August 18, 2016.
Feedback from the central region states will be reviewed and summarized by the Central Regional Advisory Committee for the US Secretary of Education. Comprehensive Centers [authorized through Title II of the Educational Technical Assistance Act of 2002, Education Sciences Reform Act (2002)] provide technical assistance to State Education Agencies to support local agencies and schools, especially low performing districts and schools; improve educational outcomes for all students; close achievement gaps; and improve the quality of instruction.
