State Employee Health Plan Changes
Submitted by Human Capital Services
Health insurance plans are changing effective on January 1, 2017.
Employees of Kansas State University are covered with health insurance and benefits from the State Employee Health Plan, or SEHP. The SEHP currently covers all Board of Regents' employees with health, dental and vision insurance as well as additional benefits for managing healthcare costs and finding the best providers. The health insurance plan design for all Kansas employees is constructed by the SEHP and the Kansas Health Care Commission, or HCC, each year.
K-State employees are able to learn about these health insurance changes through the State Employee Health Plan and the Human Capital Services website. If you are not sure what plan you currently have, log into HRIS-Employee Self Service and follow the path Employee Self Service > Benefits > Benefits Summary. Your individual plan information will be listed to the right of "Medical/Prescription" in the chart displayed.
