National Urban Extension Conference Session Proposal Deadline - September 30
Some of the most pressing social problems and policy issues confronting America and the rest of the world involve urban people and places. Extension professionals across the nation - including you - are working in and across various program areas to address these issues. The National Urban Extension Conference presents both an opportunity to share your effective programming strategies and learn from other Extension professionals about their approaches to addressing these challenges.
The conference will be held in Bloomington, MN at the Radisson Blu, Mall of America, May 7-11, 2017. The deadline to submit proposals is September 30, 2016. Proposals should focus on the uniquely urban/metropolitan aspects of programming and may include, but are not limited to: 1) Strengthening Communities, 2) Protecting the Environment, 3) Improving Health, 4) Enriching Youth, 5) Feeding Our Communities: Local Food Systems and Networks. Proposals may be submitted for one of the following categories of delivery at the conference: 1) Oral Presentation, 2) Organized Presentation Session, 3) Panel Presentation, 4) Workshop, 5) Poster Session, or 6) Ignite Presentation.
