Epsilon Sigma Phi Alpha Rho Chapter Now Accepting New Members
On behalf of the ESP Membership Recruitment and Retention Committee, you are invited to become a member of Epsilon Sigma Phi.
Epsilon Sigma Phi is the National Cooperative Extension Professional’s Organization, dedicated to fostering standards of excellence in the Extension system, developing the Extension profession and the professional. Membership is open to faculty who work in local, area or campus offices.
Alpha Rho chapter projects and activities include:
* Extension personnel recognition
* Grants for study
* Professional development workshops
* Grants for innovative programming
The National Epsilon Sigma Phi organization includes more than 11,000 annual, associate and life members, with 200 members in Kansas. Extension faculty with less than three years Extension experience by January 1, 2017 may join the Alpha Rho Chapter as an associate member for a yearly membership fee of $20. Those with more than three years of Extension experience may become annual members for a yearly membership fee of $70.
New members will be initiated on Tuesday evening, October 25, at 6 p.m., during the Annual Conference Epsilon Sigma Phi Recognition Program, held in the KSU Student Union Ballroom. We also invite you to attend the business meeting at 11:45 a.m. earlier that same day. Register for one or both of these meetings when you register for Annual Conference. Please note there is a charge for food at these events.
