Poinsettias Galore! Open House
The annual Poinsettia Open House will be held on Wednesday, November 30, from 12 noon to 4:30 in the main hallway of the greenhouse complex of the Throckmorton Plant Sciences Center. A variety of poinsettia cultivars produced by students in HORT 570 Greenhouse Operations Management will be on display. Get in the holiday spirit by taking a selfie by the poinsettia tree and sipping some apple cider!
The Friends of the KSU Gardens will be simultaneously holding their Annual Poinsettia and Amaryllis Sale in the Gardens' Quinlan Visitor's Center, 1500 Denison Ave. The sale is from 12 noon to 5:30 on Wednesday, November 30, and 3 - 5:30 on Friday, December 2. Six-inch potted plants are $10 each or 6 for $50. Proceeds benefit the KSU Gardens.
