Reaching New Audiences Web Page

Submitted by Aliah Mestrovich Seay

Kansas 4-H now has a Reaching New Audiences page!

Kansas 4-H is dedicated to providing learning opportunities that are inclusive and representative of our diverse audiences of youth and families. It is our mission to create programming that serves the needs of our community and recruit and retain new audiences that reflect the changing demographics in Kansas.

This page is for staff, volunteers and community partners to access up-to-date research-based information about how to build a cultural sensitivity and awareness about under-represented and under-served audiences while boosting recruitment initiatives and programming efforts.

K-State Research and Extension 4-H Youth Development is known for its dedication to serving culturally diverse audiences, and we are proud to be part of the solution so that EVERY youth has the possibility of experiencing positive youth development.

Our Cultural Adaptation Navigator webinar series will provide you with intercultural development support to increase your client base and build awareness about culturally sensitive issues.

There is also the possibility of requesting a customized training for your county, district or department. Click here for more information.
