New Kansas Withholding Tax Rates Effective July 1, 2017
As noted in Kansas Department of Revenue Notice 17-02, new state income tax rates are in effect July 1, 2017, retroactive to January 1, 2017. Local Extension Units should start using the new Kansas Withholding tax rates for salary payments made on or after 7/1/2017. The new rate tables include a “catch-up” provision for 2017 and are available at https://ksrevenue.org/forms-btwh.html.
