Active Shooter Response Training on October 30
A training for citizen response to active shooter and critical incidents has been scheduled for Monday, October 30, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the K-State Wildcat Chamber (formerly known as the Student Union Little Theater).
This is a pre-conference session taking place the day before K-State Research and Extension Annual Conference begins. All K-State Research and Extension employees, on or off campus, are invited to attend. Registration on the Annual Conference registration form is requested but not required.
This training introduces ALICE - a pro-active solution for individuals who find themselves in life threatening events. Participants will learn how to make informed decisions as to how to respond to the event. ALICE is not a checklist, but rather an acronym to remember different response options. The class is PowerPoint based with no role play required.
