Welcome Tandy Rundus
Tandy Rundus, MS, RD, has been hired as the new SNAP-Ed specialist for the northeastern part of Kansas. Many of you may remember her as a former Family and Consumer Sciences agent in the River Valley District. Since she left us she has been working as Director of School Nutrition with Concordia Schools.
We are very happy to have her back in Extension!! She will be working closely with SNAP-Ed in NE Kansas, but also helping us provide professional development to nutrition educators and assistants; engage with communities around policy, system and environmental approaches; and assist with evaluating our effectiveness across the whole state.
She begins her new role later this month. Please help us welcome her!
