Prostate Cancer Patient Recruitment

Submitted by Erin Yelland

Dr. Carl Ade, assistant professor of Kinesiology in the College of Human Ecology, and his doctoral student are currently seeking men with a history of prostate cancer to participate in a research study.

To be considered, men must be:

  • under the age of 80
  • currently being treated for prostate cancer OR have previously been treated for prostate cancer
  • free of cardiovascular disease (high blood pressure, stroke, heart attack, bypass surgery)
  • non-diabetic
  • non-smoker

Participants will engage in a single-visit study involving some light cycling on a stationary bike.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Carl Ade, cade@ksu.edu. If you know someone who fits these conditions, please share this information with them.

We greatly appreciate your willingness to advance research in the College of Human Ecology!
