Thank You from John Forshee
Words really cannot express how grateful I am to work for K-State Research and Extension and with the “family” that comes along with it.
It is in the trying times, such as the passing of my Dad, that one can most appreciate the breadth of support that we often take for granted in Extension. The flexibility to practice the “family first” that I always preach to my staff is an unwritten benefit that we enjoy. I was so grateful to be able to just step away and take care of Dad and all the arrangements and know that my team was carrying on.
The outpouring of support in emails, facebook messages, cards, and memorials from all levels of KSRE was overwhelming to say the least. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to work with all of you. May God bless you all in return!
