2018-2019 Agent Action Plans and 2017-2018 Impact Statements Due October 1

Submitted by Laurie Chandler

Agent Action Plans for 2018-2019 and Impact Reports for the 2017-2018 program year, along with the Professional Development Plans, are due October 1. These documents are completed through the PEARS system.

Please note: New agents won’t write a new action plan until after attending Programming with a Purpose. Prior to this training, a new agent could adopt a previous plan or a PFT plan.

Action Plans
From the PEARS menu, select "Action Plan" from the drop down box under "Plan." If you would like to copy a PFT plan and localize, click on "Filter" for the 2018-2019 Reporting Period, and change the "Level" of plan to PFT. Leave the other filters blank. This should provide you with a list of all the 2018-2019 PFT Action Plans. Once you click on a PFT Action Plan, there will be a button at the top that will allow you to copy the PFT Plan to your Individual Plan. Once you have copied it, you can then update and edit the plan for your local unit.

Impact Reports
From the PEARS menu, select "Impact Statements" from the drop down box under "Track." To create a new Impact Report, click on the "+Add" button.

Professional Development Plans
From the PEARS menu, select "Professional Development" from the drop down box under "Plan." The first step is to click on the "Event Catalog" to select the professional development opportunities you plan to attend in 2018-2019.

Next go to the "My Plans" tab and click on the "+Add" button. Once you change the reporting period to 2018-2019, the professional development opportunities you selected earlier will show up.

For questions, check out the Support Page as a part of the PEARS system or call OEIE at 785-532-5138.
