Planning the County Extension Annual Meeting
Extension Councils hold an Annual Meeting each fall between the dates of October 1 and December 20. The main functions of the annual meeting are to:
- Report on and celebrate the successes of the program year
- Recognize outgoing board and PDC members and give other recognition awards
- Elect nine council members to the executive board
- Begin planning the county Extension program for the next year.
The annual meeting also provides the opportunity to invite county commissioners, legislators, the media and other key stakeholders to thank them for their support and to share program impact.
