Retirement Reception for Richard Baker
Please join the Department of Communications and Agricultural Education in celebrating the career of Richard Baker, longtime radio news director and associate professor, from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, December 14, in Umberger Hall, Room 312.
Richard is retiring this month after serving as an on-air and behind-the-scenes leader for the K-State Radio Network since 1977 and as an instructor in agricultural business communication and audio/visual production since 2002. Formerly the news director for KKSU, Richard has produced the weekly interview program, “Perspective,” for more than 40 years. He was also coach and adviser for the Kansas State University Softball Club from 2001-2012.
Please help the College of Agriculture and K-State Research and Extension celebrate Richard’s four decades of service and wish him well in retirement.
