Shout Out: Jackie Fees and Jodi Besthorn
This week’s Shout Out is extended from Rich Llewelyn to Jackie Fees and Jodi Besthorn.
“In November, Jackie Fees and Jodi Besthorn, in the Sedgwick County office, went well above and beyond what they had to do in order to help make the Wichita rendition of the Kansas Income Tax Institute successful. Jackie worked to help schedule and set up the meeting and provided logistical help and support in finding a caterer, setting up sound, receiving tax workbooks, and providing access to the building. Jodi contacted a local 4-H club to help setting up chairs and tables and was on site Sunday night when set-up took place, as well as being available on the first day of the meeting, despite it being a holiday (Veterans Day), to help via phone with several issues. They both helped immensely and helped showcase the Extension facility and the excellent work that Extension professionals do for over 160 accountants, attorneys and tax preparers who attended, many of who are only in contact with K-State Research and Extension through this meeting each year. I’m very thankful for their work in making this happen.”
Jackie and Jodi, thanks for going that extra mile!
If you know of a colleague or colleagues who have gone the extra mile for a program or activity, they deserve a Shout Out. To give them a Shout Out, simply send me their name or names and a brief description of why they deserve a Shout Out. Please send that information to ghadley@ksu.edu.
