Shout Out: Eva Peterson
This week’s Shout Out comes to us from Aimee Hawkes:
“I would like to submit Eva Peterson for a Tuesday Letter Shout Out. She joined us in September in the middle of fall tree sales, and immediately became part of the team. With her initiative and teamwork, she was able to increase our efficiency and accuracy in the Conservation Tree Planting Program. She cultivated an environment of communication and productivity and is always eager to learn.
When the spring sales season started, her workload increased drastically, but Eva never wavered. She jumped in, taking on leadership roles in meetings and working with customers. Having her as the point of contact for trees sales led to an increase in sales and number of trees planted throughout the state of Kansas. We are thrilled to have her on board to represent Kansas Forest Service to a wide group of constituents including individuals of Kansas and surrounding states. We really appreciate all that she has done and continues to do for our agency. She has been a great addition to our staff!”
Eva, that’s for all you have done, do, and will do in the future for the Kansas Forestry Service, K-State Research and Extension, and the people we serve!
If you know of a person or team that deserves a Shout Out for a job well done, please send their name and the reason for the Shout Out to ghadley@ksu.edu.
