Retirement Celebration for Doug Jardine, February 28 - 4-7 p.m.

Submitted by Megan Kennelly

Doug Jardine, Professor and Extension Specialist in Plant Pathology, is retiring after several decades of dedicated service to KSU. There will be a retirement party on Friday, February 28, 4-7 p.m., at the Blue Hills Room, 2315 Tuttle Creek Blvd, Manhattan, KS 66502. You are welcome to come and go as your schedule allows. There will be some formal remarks around 5:30.

You are welcome to come congratulate Doug and celebrate his upcoming retirement with some snacks and drinks.

Dr. Jardine spent his career serving row crops producers in Kansas. He developed and delivered high quality Extension programs and resources that were used by countless Extension agents and growers across the state. He served as the State Program Leader for Extension Plant Pathology for three decades. He was named a Fellow of the American Phytopathological Society in 2013. We thank him for his contributions to KSU and to Kansas agriculture.
