Stress and Resiliency Transdisciplinary Team News
Submitted by Rebecca McFarland
You may have noticed that the Rural Stress Transdisciplinary Team has changed it's name to the Stress and Resiliency Transdisciplinary Team. The name change truly reflects our work. We ALL experience stress, whether urban, rural or suburban. While our team may target specific populations through some projects or strategies, we are dedicated to improving the quality of life for all Kansans.
We would like to thank John Forshee for all of his work as a co-leader of our team. John is passionate, thoughtful and a strong advocate for behavioral health. We wish you well in retirement, John!
With John's upcoming retirement, we have asked Brett Melton to join our co-leader team. Brett is the District Livestock Agent in the River Valley District and when asked to serve as a co-leader, he enthusiastically said 'yes'! Thank you Brett!
